Step 1: Determine the appropriate height and distance.
Suppose you want to camp and want to hang a hammock between two trees. First, you need to consider your “Hammock Ridge Length”. This is a term we commonly use in the hammock community to define the length of your hammock from one end to the other. Obviously, you want the distance between the trees to be greater than the length of the ridgeline of the hammock. And also need to consider the height and length of the hanging tool.
In this example, you might use a hammock tree strap. So make sure to place them high enough in the tree. So that the hammock can be hung at the required height. But, for safety reasons, you also need to remember that the tighter you pull the hammock, the greater the tension on the rope. Generally speaking, to avoid any disaster, it is always a smart idea to stay loose. Especially when you want to hang the hammock from the wall or ceiling. The ideal hanging Angle is about 30 degrees, but don’t get too tangled.. The more you sleep in the hammock, the better you can observe the right height and distance. Hammock Hanging Hardware
The suspension hardware is used for suspended hammocks. For example, a hammock with a replaceable bed or a hammock hanging from the ceiling. For this, you need two strong wall anchors, such as j-hooks. Then, you need about 1.5 feet of metal chain and two S-hooks. Just by sliding the S-hook up and down on the chain, the tension of the hammock can be adjusted. Ensuring you always get the perfect hang.
